Is Monitoring Software legal?
The program is completely legal in most areas, as long as you own the phone or have the proper authorization to install the monitoring program onto it. You can find more information about legality on our legal policies page.
Will others know that ePhoneTracker is installed or running?
No, there is no icon or mention of the program on the monitored device. The interface is hidden and can only be accessed using a secret key sequence which you can adjust.
Which phones are compatible?
The software must be installed on the device you wish to monitor. The software is compatible with most models of Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile 6, and Symbian OS 9 phones. We create new builds as new model devices are released. For more on which phones are compatible, please see the compatibility page.
Does the monitored device need to have an Internet connection?
Yes, it is necessary to have an Internet connection on the monitored phone. The software needs a connection to upload the logs to your account.
What charge will show on my credit card?
We use Digital River, a secure e-commerce provider for software companies which safely handles millions of transactions per year. The charge will show as "Digital River".
Does ePhoneTracker require that I know the IMEI number?
No. Our advanced software does not need the IMEI number. Just install the software to the device, plug in your username and password and you're all set.
What is your privacy policy?
Our company policy is that our customer databases remain confidential and private. We have not, will not, and won't ever sell names to "spammers" or other parties who would like to use our databases to advertise or solicit their products or services. Our products do not collect any info from your phone other than the information required for the products' successful operation.
What is your refund policy?
As with all software companies, we do not issue refunds for simply changing your mind. If you experience troubles with our software we will work with you to resolve the issues in a timely manner. If the issues can't be resolved you'll receive a refund.
Do you provide technical support?
Yes, in addition to our user guides and knowledge base, we offer free online technical support to answer any questions you may have during your one year paid access.
Does the account access include updates to the software?
Yes, we update ePhoneTracker regularly to make it compatible with the latest models. If you need a new version on your device it can be obtained for free inside the user guide within your account.
